MemoriesOnWeb

- Freeware Photo SlideShow software for YouTube (& others*)

About MemoriesOnWeb

MemoriesOnWeb is a powerful yet simple to use slideshow freeware (yes, put your wallet away). It's designed for folks who want to create photo/video slideshows easily and upload to free video hosts* (eg. YouTube) to share it with friends and family.

Based on the same engine as MemoriesOnTV (our shareware for DVD slideshows), MemoriesOnWeb offers a host of advanced controls that allow you to blend your photos & video with almost unlimited creativity. You can apply pan/zoom motion effects to individual slides, or mix multiple audio tracks and synchronize them to your slides.

When you're done authoring your slideshow, simply publish it to your video host* with a single mouse click. MemoriesOnWeb integrates seamlessly with your video host backend, and will do the video upload on your behalf.

Tips on running MemoriesOnWeb

  1. For best results, you should install Xvid + Lame encoding codecs. When these codecs are present, MemoriesOnWeb will use them to create your video file. This will result in a smaller file size and much quicker upload.

To install LAME, unzip the above download and right-click on the extracted LameACM.inf file and select "Install". For Xvid, just double-click on the downoaded EXE file to install.

  2. For video clips (AVI/MPG) import, MemoriesOnWeb depends on the codecs you have installed on your PC to read them. If you have a compatible video codec, MemoriesOnWeb will be able to read your video. For MOV video clips, you will need to install QuickTime in order for MemoriesOnWeb to read them.

  3. Your MemoriesOnWeb project (PTV file) is compatible with MemoriesOnTV. As such, you can load your project with MemoriesOnTV (or vice versa) and output to different formats.

* The current version of MemoriesOnWeb integrates with YouTube. This can easily be extended to support other video host providers (send us your feedback). If you're using a non-supported video host, you will need to upload the created video file manually.
